Agassiz Valley Properties Policies for Unit Rental

GENERAL RULES OF UNIT USE

  • Units or Property CANNOT be used for:
     - Housing
     - Sheltering Animals
     - Storing Hazardous Material
     - Retail Sales
     - Outdoor storage of vehicles
     - Any illegal activity 

  • Rent is due the 1st of each month.
  • We accept credit cards and debit cards only. No checks or cash.
  • Late fee is charged when rent payment is 10 days late. 
  • Units must be broom clean upon move-out or a cleaning fee of $50 to $100, plus any disposal costs, will be charged.

INTERNET SECURITY & PRIVACY

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. We do not sell our customer lists to anyone. Customer information provided to us through this web site, or in person, may be used for customer communication and marketing of our own properties. 

REFUND POLICY

We offer a Money Back Guarantee on every unit we lease. If you are not satisfied with your unit notify us within 10 days of the lease and if we are unable to repair the problem, or find a suitable replacement unit, we will issue a full refund.

Checks for refunds and deposit returns are processed at the end of the month that the request was made. Please make sure your contact  information and address are updated and correct.

If payment was made with a credit card all refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days upon refund request. 

LEASE

All tenants must sign a Lease. Leases term is identified in your lease. Please take time to read your Lease and understand our rules and policies. They are designed to provide security and ease of operation. We reserve the right to cancel Leases for tenants that do not follow the rules and policies including those of quiet enjoyment, timely rent payments, unapproved outdoor storage, site cleanliness and security.

RENT

Rent will be collected on the first of each month for the upcoming month. Rent must be paid with a credit card or debit card. We do not accept checks or cash. Unpaid rent will be charged a let fee after 10 days late and your Unit will be locked by management. If Rent goes unpaid for 45 days or longer your belongings will be sold at public auction.

Rent is prorated upon move-in for the days used mid-month. Rent is charged for the full month thereafter with no partial month refunds.

Unpaid rent and fees and/or the cost of damage repair will be pursued through the Courts.

TENANT CONTACT INFORMATION

Agassiz Valley Properties uses e-mail and text messages for all communication including late rent reminders and auction notices. It is the tenant's responsibility to update us with your contact information including new address for your U.S. Mail, should you move.
